Practical Driving Examination

The collaboration of the online driver’s education or the classroom lesson instruction, and practical driving training teaches a new driver the basic of safety driving to pass the practical driving examination. The practical driving examination is the second phase of the examinations required by the state’s DMV; the first is the written or the theory driving examination.

For some states, failure of the practical driving examination results to the disapproval of the application for the intermediate driving permit. It is very important to pass the practical driving examination to get the full license faster.

Here are some of the common failures of the practical driving examination:

  1. Junctions.  Ineffective road observation and the lack of judgment on road clearance may result to staying very close to junctions when you make turns. Check out the area before making any movement.

  1. Parking. Probably the hardest thing to consider is parking. If you cannot keep a good clearance during parking, you may fail the practical driving examination.

  1. Mirror Usage. Observing the entire road is a very important of road safety. You should learn how to check the mirror from time to time without leaving your eyes off the road ahead of you.

  1. Signal Failure. Online driver’s education teaches new drivers the basic of road signaling. It is very important to keep others posted with what you intend to do. When you make a move, be sure to use the car lights to make a communication.

  1. Corner Turns. In roundabouts or bends, be sure to have a good clearance before you make a turn. To avoid collision risk, slow down before you make the turn to avoid the pulling force of the car.

  1. Moving. Ineffective observations of other vehicles or any road element must be checked. As much you check the parking clearance, be sure to keep the road safe before you move away from the parking area.

  1. Road Positioning. Do not stay close in bends or in road centers. As much as you can, stay at the center of the lane. It will keep you safe from side collisions with any road element.

  1. Steering Control.  Whether you are turning or making a lane change, it is good to check your steering control. When you steer without considering the timing, you may mistakenly keep close with the corners or the road blocks.

  1. Right Turns. Right turns have disapproved the driver’s license application of most new drivers. The failure to keep a distance from other elements of the road hinders a person to get a passing score.

  1. Speed. Following the right posted limit is a top matter for the DMV.  Over speeding is discouraged by the state to avoid the worst of accidents that may happen. The examiner will not give you a good point if you keep your pushing for the limit of the car speed in an area. As much as you can, stay in the limit only, but do not slow down at great limit.
